A technically and economically improved solution

We are pleased to announce that Eurograte handrails comply with the requirements of UNI EN ISO 14122-3:2016, which sets safety standards for handrails installed in industrial environments.

This compliance not only represents an important regulatory update – demonstrating our commitment to continuous improvement and adherence to the latest standards – but also marks a significant advancement in terms of technical performance and cost-efficiency compared to previous solutions.

To support this compliance, a test report issued by Istituto Giordano – a nationally recognized institution – is available. In addition to the requirements of the standard, the report also certifies the maximum breaking load, confirming the product’s high strength and reliability.

Updated technical specifications:

  • Distance between posts: 1500 m

  • Post height: 1350 mm

  • Bolting: M10 bolts (in accordance with the size used in the support structure)

Technical and economic advantages:

  • Greater mechanical strength for more effective and long-lasting protection.

  • Reduced overall weight of the structure due to fewer posts.

  • Faster assembly and shorter installation times: the increased spacing allows for quicker installation, reducing labor costs.

  • Simplified bolting: using a single type of bolt minimizes the risk of assembly errors.

  • More competitive final price.

  • Increased post height, suitable for vertical fastening on large sections.

Compliance with UNI EN ISO 14122-3:2016, combined with the improvements introduced, makes our handrails a reliable, efficient, and cost-effective solution designed to meet our clients’ needs for safety, regulatory compliance, and economic sustainability.
